Relief
for Ozark County.
West Plains, Mo., March , 29.—The
drouth-stricken farmers of Ozark county are to be relieved, as two cars of
corn and potato seed arrived here yesterday. John C. Harlin, county clerk of
Ozark county, is here with teams to haul the seed to Gainesville, whence it
will-be distributed. There is much destitution in that county. No such
condition exists in Howell county. The big fruit crop last year brought
thousands of dollars to the county and Howell is out of debt and has money in
the treasury. No assistance needed here, although much suffering exists in
Ozark and Taney counties.
